The Course
The three year course is designed to produce graduates with the professional capacity to operate audiovisual equipment including the latest in digital technology used the field of audiovisuals, mass media and the moving image (i.e. cinema and multimedia)
The programme of study strikes a balance between humanities and sciences focusing in particular on the creative aspects of the course.
Prerequisite for the three year course is an Italian High School Diploma or an international equivalent for foreign students.
The three year course of study includes six main disciplines which are covered by one or more subjects taken as modules.
- Area 1 - Italian
Area 2 - History
Area 3 - Foreign languages
The syllabus allows students to expand their knowledge while making specific reference to the world of the moving image. - Area 4 - Production of Image Arts
This area provides both theoretical and practical training in producing moving images (i.e. film, television and multimedia), paying particular attention to new digital technologies. - Area 5 - The Science of Communication and Multimedia
Via a study of computer graphics students will develop skills in digital manipulation of images in all its various dynamics; still, interactive and moving. This area of study includes the teaching of video post-production. - Area 6 - Business & Management
The study covers all the planning and management aspects of audiovisual projects while also taking into consideration the cultural contribution of Image Arts on a more general level.
