Practical training on the set of Riccardo Milani's movie: "Il disco del mondo".
Among the didactic activities of 2005/2006 Academic Year, the student Grazia Liberotti is working on the set of the academy teacher Riccardo Milani's last movie: " Il disco del mondo (Piano, solo"). The movie, produced by Palomar, Rai Cinema, Hugo Film, is interpreted by Kim Rossi Stuart, Jasmine Trinca, Michele Placido, Paola Cortellesi and others. The shooting, between Italy and Africa, will last ten weeks.
"Il disco del mondo (Piano, solo)" is an homage to the dramatic life of the musician Luca Flores, one of the greatest italian jazz representative, died before his time in 1995.
Milani, after some training as a co-director of Mario Monicelli, Nanni Moretti, Daniele Luchetti and Florestano Vancini made his first feature film: "Auguri Professore" (1997) and in 1999 signed "La guerra degli Antò".
From 1995 to 2002 he directed many spots and in 2000 he made Mario Monicelli's movie: "Solito noto-Ritratto" (for the series Archivio della memoria), the short films "L'Extraterrestre" and "Una disperata vitalità". For the tv he directed "Il Sequestro Soffiantini". In 2003 have been released "Il posto dell'anima", a bitter story on unemployment and struggle.
